We have a team of dedicated individuals that manage and support the fleet of Xerox copiers, laser printers and multi-function devices that are deployed throughout UBC. Fleet management provides flexible solutions that benefit UBC in a variety of ways. Cost savings are achieved by reducing the total cost of ownership and by centralizing supplies ordering. Sustainability initiatives are met by eliminating redundant machines and implementing new energy-efficient Xerox copier management and support. Productivity rates increase with better device reliability and proactive device management.

The Managed Print Consultant

  • Completes a needs assessment
  • Recommends appropriate technology
  • Implements new technology
  • Relocates technology as required
  • Supports ongoing change requirements

The Fleet Manager

  • Is responsible for field level support
  • Ensures technology operates effectively
  • Deploys necessary support resources
  • Relocates technology as required
  • Provides device reporting

The Docucare Representative

  • Provides on-site break-fix services
  • Is deployed when the problem cannot be fixed remotely

All office technology is monitored by our remote service and Help Desk Team. As the software senses a performance issue, the Help Desk Team will attempt to fix the problem remotely. If this is unsuccessful, the local Docucare Representative is dispatched.
